A little measuring goes a long way.

01. Start with your room.

Measure the available width, depth and height. Leave space for movement, doors, drawers and reclining mechanisms. Mark a footprint on the floor to understand scale.

02. Walk the delivery route.

Check the narrowest doorway, hallway turns, stairs, landings and elevator dimensions. Measure the lift doors as well as the interior.

03. Check every package.

Use packaged dimensions for access planning. Confirm the number of cartons and whether components detach; do not assume a piece can be disassembled.

04. Ask if you are unsure.

Send the item name or SKU and measurements of difficult access points. Clarify the route before ordering.
